How a pickup goes
Most jobs take one visit. You can be there or not: plenty of people send a photo, leave the garage open and come home to a swept floor.
Count it in the estimator, or text a photo of the pile to (864) 555-0142. A photo is the fastest way to a firm price.
We confirm the price from your photo or a quick look on site. Nothing gets loaded until you’ve said yes to it.
You don’t carry anything. We load from wherever it sits: the garage, the basement, an upstairs bedroom, the far end of the yard.
When the last piece is on the trailer, we sweep the floor or rake the spot where the pile was.
Usable furniture goes to donation, metal and appliances to recycling, and the rest to the county facility that takes it.
Where yourjunk ends up
We sort as we load, so less of it ends up buried. The guide to Oconee County’s dump sites has the hours and rules if you’d rather haul it yourself.

Clean, working furniture and appliances go to donation before anything goes to the dump. The Oconee Habitat ReStore on Bountyland Road takes furniture, but not mattresses, box springs or tube TVs.

Recycling
South Carolina keeps appliances out of landfills, and TVs and computers too. Fridges, washers and scrap metal go to recycling; electronics go where the county or a recycler takes them.

County sites
Oconee’s eleven recycling centers serve residents only and close on Wednesdays and Sundays. Only Strawberry Farm in Seneca takes mattresses. Building debris goes to the C&D landfill on Wells Highway.

Questions people ask
More questions and answersHow much does junk removal cost in Seneca?
Most jobs are priced by how much of our 15 cubic yard trailer they fill: $75–$95 for a small pickup, $250–$320 for half a trailer and $450–$550 for a full one. Mattresses, refrigerant appliances, tires and tube TVs add a small fee each.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. The minimum is $75–$95 and covers up to 2 cubic yards, about a recliner and a few bags, or a mattress and box spring. A single couch runs $95–$120.
Do I have to carry everything to the curb?
No. We load from wherever it sits: the garage, the basement, an upstairs bedroom or the back of the yard. Stairs add $25–$50 a flight for heavy pieces.
Do I need to be home when you come?
No, as long as we’ve agreed the price from photos and can get to everything that’s going. Leave the garage or gate open and mark anything that stays.
How do you price a job you haven’t seen?
The estimator gives a ballpark from what you count. We confirm a firm price from a photo or a quick look before anything gets loaded, and nothing moves until you’ve said yes.
What won’t you take?
Hazardous waste: paint, solvents, pool chemicals, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos and medical waste. Those need a hazardous waste drop-off, and we can point you to the right one.
Can you take a mattress?
Yes. A mattress or box spring adds $15–$25 to the load for disposal, or runs $90–$120 on its own. In Oconee County only the Strawberry Farm recycling center takes mattresses from residents.
